MONTHLY SEMINARS - Once a month we hold a panel discussion, seminar or workshop on a different aspect of filmmaking. From screenwriting to auditioning; getting an agent to forming a production company; finding money, writing grants and much more. Check out our EVENTS.
QUARTERLY GROUP MEETINGS - We meet four times a year to network, crew up, share works-in-progress and bask in the ambience of like-minded individuals. The evening starts out with announcements about what's happening with the organization, and then we have member introductions (first come, first speak). If we have time, our visitors and guests can network with each other.

SCREENING SERIES - Beginning in April 2004. CineWomen LA is dedicated to bringing women's cinema projects to a larger audience. To that end, we have partnered with Raleigh Studios to create a monthly screening series at the Charlie Chaplin Theater, 5300 Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. Open to all filmmakers, CineWomen may submit their works for free. The screening process determines if the content is suitable for the CineWomen LA Screening Series, as well as the best possible placement based on mood and/or theme. MONTHLY MIXER OR HOLIDAY PARTY - CineWomen throws two big bashes a year you won't want to miss. our Halloween Party and December Holiday Party. The August "End of Summer" Mixer has become a new tradition. These three Events combined with the Quarterly Group Meetings plus 5 more mixers, co-hosted with other industry round out 12 months of networking which we all know is so important in this town!
INDUSTRY DISCOUNTS - Since all our money is thrown into the making of our films, we desperately need discounts to those resources we can't be without. Our discounts are growing daily. Currently we offer discounts for Production Insurance, The Hollywood Reporter, Cinetools software, many workshops and seminars around town and much more.
CINEWOMEN INSIDE/MONTHLY NEWSLETTER - Soon to be in E-zine format, complete with graphics and pictures, this newsletter highlights CineWomen in action, What's Happening (CW Events, Screenings, Seminars & Meetings), Festival Deadlines and much more.
CINEWOMEN WEEKLY E-MAILS - Many invites, deadlines, events, auditions, etc. come in every week, which can't be held for a month. We compile this information and send out a weekly e-mail to members only.
FREE ADMISSION TO SUBGROUP MEETINGS - Cine Women is rapidly growing and many members have branched out and get together within a company of women in the same field. The Groups (Screenwriters, Documentarians, Editors, etc.) meet monthly to discuss ideas, work on projects and make sure they are constantly creating or doing something for their career. Only CWLA Members are invited to join the Groups.
